UW Ad Tracking Extension - What Is It?
This extension is part of a study of how ads target you.
This has been funded by the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington.
The study consists of two phases:
In Phase 1, you will browse to 10 websites provided by us and download our extension.
In Phase 2, we will collect data and create statistical reports on the websites.
To opt out of the ad-tracking aspect of the study, you can stop the extension by removing it from your device. To opt out of receiving emails, you can change the settings in the email notification setting.
